Child missing cancer ward [PHOTO/VIDEO], The welfare of a missing 11-year-old leukemia patient who was taken from
a Phoenix hospital by her mom a day before she was scheduled to be
discharged is the major concern for authorities, who fear a catheter in
the girl’s heart could become infected and endanger her life.
Identified
only as Emily, the young girl had been battling an infection at Phoenix
Children's Hospital and still has a catheter in her heart. She had been
receiving treatment for leukemia at the hospital for around a month and
had already had an arm amputated.
Local police said the young
girl remains ill and her condition could take a turn for the worse if
