Magazine was in Ottumwa, Iowa, which grabbed headlines for proclaiming
itself to be the Video Game Capital of the World, to photograph the
event as the world record champs traveled in from around the country.
Now
30 years later, the snap has continued to appear repeatedly in
documentary films, gaming news websites and even on the walls of
