Rovers Big Discovery [VIDEO], NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity has apparently made a discovery “for the
history books,” but we are apparently going to have to wait a few weeks
to find out what the new Red Planet find may be, media reports suggest.
We do know that the discovery was made by SAM, the Sample Analysis at Mars suite of three instruments.
"Think
of it like a Swiss Army knife," SAM co-investigator Laurie Leshin told
The L.A. Times. "It's a beautifully integrated set of tools that can do
many jobs ... and of course it's right there in Curiosity's pocket." Go here to read more and to see the video.
