Nurses sue Douglas Kennedy [VIDEO], Two nurses in Westchester County have filed a $200,000 lawsuit against Douglas Kennedy, a son of Robert F. Kennedy.
The
nurses accuse him of assault and battery, negligence and causing them
emotional and physical distress after an episode involving his newborn
son.
Kennedy was acquitted in a White Plains, N.Y., court of harassment and child endangerment charges.
He
was accused of twisting a nurse's arm and kicking another nurse in an
incident in January, captured on security video, at Northern Westchester
Hospital in Mount Kisco, N.Y., as he tried to leave the hospital
maternity ward holding his newborn son.
The verdict of acquittal
came last Tuesday, CNN reported. Kennedy's lawyers contended he merely
wanted to take the baby outsides for "fresh air," and that the staff
