Jailed Amish can't attend wedding [PHOTOS/VIDEO] in Bergholz, Ohio. Five of nine incarcerated Amish people requested to leave jail in order to attend an out-of-town wedding on Thanksgiving Day.
According
to information made available on Nov. 21, 2012, the Honorable Dan
Polster -- a federal judge in Cleveland -- declined the Amish
defendants' plea to watch a bride and groom exchange their vows in
person on Thursday.
