Brooke Shields's mom Teri dies [PHOTO], Teri Shields raised eyebrows when she allowed her 11-year-old daughter,
Brooke, to be cast as a prostitute in 1978's "Pretty Baby."
Teri Shields died in New York after a long illness related to dementia, a family spokesman said.
She was 79.
The
elder Shields was a single mother from New Jersey who worked as a
