Anchors resign on air [VIDEO], Two news co-anchors on a Bangor television station shocked viewers and
staff members when they quit on the air at the conclusion of their
newscasts.
Tony Consiglio and Cindy Michaels announced their
resignations at the end of Tuesday’s 6 p.m. newscast, citing a
longstanding battle with management at WVII and sister station WFVX.
Both
Consiglio, 28, and Michaels, 46, said frustration over the way they
were allowed or told to do their jobs — something that has been steadily
